Professor Brady is a specialist in the politics and foreign policy of China, New Zealand and the Pacific and polar regions at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch. She is a Global Fellow at the Wilson Center and chief executive of The Polar Journal. She has authored numerous books and scholarly papers, her writings appear regularly in the New York Times, The Australian and the Financial Times.
